Delicious at any time of day or night, Josiane’s Chocolate Macaroons are heavenly and easy!
Recipe:
1 1/2 cup white or brown sugar
5 Tbsp cocoa
3/4 cup milk
1 Tbsp butter
3 cups oatmeal
1 cup shredded coconut (I used unsweetened)
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
Mix sugar, milk, butter and salt in a saucepan. Heat to boiling point, stirring constantly for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and add vanilla, oatmeal, coconut and cocoa. Drop by teaspoons in greased/waxed paper and let cool.
Enjoy immediately and try, just try to eat only one.
